Hello Towson AL Post 22:

Once again, I am writing to you on behalf of Wreaths across America, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that placed wreaths at over 2500 cemeteries across America on “National Wreaths across America Day” this past December. In spite of the Covid pandemic and a snow storm, we were able to accomplish our initiative to honor our veterans buried at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. We had to severely limit the number of participants and spread the task over several days, but the wreaths were placed and our veterans were remembered and honored.

This year the wreath laying ceremony will occur on Saturday, December 18th. This will be our fifth year for the ceremony at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. We want to be able to place a wreath at the final resting place of the 4000+ veterans buried here.

We hope you will consider supporting our mission to honor our veterans who paid the ultimate price for our freedom as well as those who served or are currently serving. Any donation should be made payable to Wreaths across America and forwarded to my attention at the address below. I have also attached our 2021 flyer, should you prefer to donate online. In order to assure that your online donation goes to Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens please use both our location and group codes. These codes are on the flyer. Should you have any questions, I’m available to assist you by phone or email.

We continue to need volunteers to help place the wreaths at each grave site while remembering the veteran by name, saluting and thanking that veteran for their service to our country. Please join us at our fifth annual wreath-laying on December 18th at Noon at the Circle of the Immortals at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
